Description

This is definitely an old time and high class Calcite specimen from the old and long time abandoned Samson Mine of St. Andreasberg in Harz Mountains. This is most desired stuff despite it is "just a carbonate" and the Calcites here are super sharp and excellent terminated with partly bevelled edges. The crystals are almost colourless and gemmy and with a slight hint of red. Definitely a super specimen although not quite perfect.
