Description
Here we have a fine specimen of well defined and high metallic lustrous Manganite crystals from the most famous locale for the species, Ilfeld in Harz Mts., Germany. The crystals here are clustered in an aesthetic manner, are long prismatic, well terminated black Manganite crystals to 1,2 cm in lenght. These specimens came out in the 1880s and are still world classics, to this day! Most of the best of species would have come from this find and for me they are way better, than the recent finds some years ago. A superb specimen with only minor, hard recognizable imperfections.
