Description
A Borax matrix is host to a superb cluster of excellently defined and razor sharp octahedron of highly lustrous and transparent, light amber coloured, rare Sulphohalite crystals, measuring 1.8 cm in diameter. In places the Borax has started its inevitable, chalky white, alteration to the related species, Tincalconite. This is a super attractive and exceedingly unusual combination piece,- practically not available on the mineral market,- especially in this super and highly aesthetic quality.
