Description

You are looking at an extremely beautiful Brookite specimen, which, in my opinion, is the most striking one of this update. Never mind that it is just a miniature. With two parallel orange-brown, well-defined tabular crystals with a maximum length of 1.5 cm are perched on a matrix of crystallized Quartz, which is dotted with several smaller Brookite crystals. An incredibly aesthetic and beautiful specimen with only a few imperfections, which is not surprising, given the fragility of the material. Sculptural and pretty perfect, that’s all I can say. All Brookite specimens included in this update come from a find from the early 2000s. Due to the relative fragility of the freestanding Brookite crystals, they are cast in a special water-soluble resin for protection before they are shipped.
