Description

This is a spectacular miniature specimen with grass-green, well-defined pseudo-octahedral Cuproadamine crystals of approximately 4 mm in size, abundantly accompanied by egg yolk-yellow, acicular microcrystalline Tsumcorite. A very typical association for the locality! The former species is gemmy translucent with a vitreous luster, while the later has an adamantine luster. Tsumcorite is a rare arsenate, and one of the 72 mineral species Tsumeb is the TYPE LOCALITY for. What a colorful, rare and extremely aesthetic specimen from the classic Namibian deposit.
