Description
Here we see a superb specimen with an enormous 2,8 cm measuring crystal of uncommon Bastnäsite-(Ce) from Zagi Mt. near Peshawar of Khyber Paktunkhwa, Pakistan. Zagi Mountain has produced what many consider the world´s finest crystallographic examples of the species, and on this sharp specimen it is easy to see why. The stark symmetry and form and especially size of the crystal on this piece make it super level for the species, but it is the arrangement and overall aesthetics with the banded granite make it a fine collectible display specimen for a rare species that normally, if we are bluntly candid, is not often at the caliber to be displayed in a case with "sexier" minerals. This crystal is pristine all around and also the print at the front side of the crystall is showing rehealed crystal faces. A super specimen with superb balance. Valued in our stock with € 1800,00. Much better in person.
