Description
A super specimen features numerous of excellent developed, apple green monoclinic crystals of Annabergite from the world fampus locality of "KM 3" near Lavrion in Greece. This locality got its name from a meanwhile disappeared milestone, on the old road from Lavrion up to Aghios Konstandinos. This old road is nowadays almost hard to see and resembles a run-down dirt road. However, here we have a stunning miniature sized specimen with these typical and sharp crystals, lining a bunch of vugs. Such aesthetic pieces are exceeding rare and hard to find, especially nowadays due to the fact that the Annabergite-bearing ore bodies are exploited since decades and the dumps are dug up several times as well.
