Description
Here you bid on a fine specimen with several creamy and glassy, hexagonal Strontianite crystals, scattered over Magnesite bearing matrix. It is very rare to find Strontianite in sharp, hexagonal crystals, and this excellent and very rich example from this classic old locale is exceptional for this reason alone even if they weren´t also so pretty to look at. The largest crystal is 1 cm and some of them are doubly terminated. The lustrous, translucent to gemmy, colourless to creamwhite prisms are richly and aesthetically strewn on this typically matrix. Due to the lack of contrast it was exceeding defficult to make good pics and the specimen is definitely better in kind.
