Description
A fine, nearly 1 cm large cluster of six-sided, olive-brown crystals of Bastnäsite-(Ce) from Zagi Mountains of Peshawar District, Pakistan. The largely transparent crystals are sharp edged with bevelled edges. They are highly lustrous as well and almost undamaged. A good matrix piece of the uncommon cerium, lanthanum carbonate-fluoride. The specimen is better in kind.
