Description
A bunch of spherical clusters of Pseudomalachite, consisting of dark green, slightly disc-shaped crystals. They are sharp edged as well, highly lustrous and largely well terminated. This is great old-timed stuff from the St. Joseph adit of the Virneberg Mine in Rheinbreitbach Such material is very hard to obtain nowadays. The Virneberg Mine is an ancient copper mine worked intermittently from 1611 to 1872. The deposit itself was already worked for copper in Roman times.
