Description
This is a very interesting Calcite specimen. The up to 7.6 cm measuring scalenohedrons look more like pine cones than sharp crystals, because they are partially covered with small, beige Dolomite rhombohedrons and some botryoidal Hematite. That gives the piece a rusty brown appearance. As I said, an interesting piece from Shaft 207, (Bad) Schlema-Hartenstein, Saxony.
