Description
This is a classic piece from the Mogul Mine which had only a few decades of operations. The Lea-Zinc mine is located in the North Tipperary region of Ireland and was initially discovered in 1963. Mining operations began in 1968, and after a short period of mining, closed in 1982. With that pedigree I consider it a classic! Gemmy-translucent, brown and in thin chips honey yellow crystals up to 0.7 cm. A super specimen, and rare on top of it.
