Typical black Limonite “Glaskopf” specimen from the Ameise (Ant) Mine, an iron mine that was closed in 1957. Historic and very sought after piece with botryoidal clusters of lustrous Iron oxide to almost 1 cm in diameter. Smooth spherical faces, pitch black like molten tar and with a great luster!
