Description
This is a specimen with silvery Arsenopyrite crystals with a gold tint and s strong metallic luster together with black lustrous Sphalerite crystals on a massive ore matrix. Both species are up to 2 mm tall.
Even during my days as an active collector of Black Forest minerals, I rarely came across pieces from the Igelschlatt Fluorite deposit, which was mined until the mid 1970s. This is an extremely rare locality piece from the Fluorite veins in the Black Forest granite.
