Description
This is an excellent hemispherical Olmiite aggregate that measures 2.2 cm diameter perched on typical black Manganese matrix. The translucent cluster is orange-flesh colored with a strong vitreous luster which makes for a sparkling disco ball appearance. An almost perfect, superb specimen from the type locality, the N’Chwaning II Mine in Kuruman, South Africa!
