Description
Dark brown, well-developed Dravite crystals up to 0.6 cm are on a Quartz-Muscovite pegmatite matrix. The crystals are brownish black with the typical striation on the prism faces. The Frath Quarry worked a gneiss-hosted pegmatite lenses mostly for Quartz and gravel. It was started in the 19th century and abandoned in 1971.
