Description
A specimen with two light beige, intergrown scalenohedral Calcite clusters, the largest one measuring 7.5 cm tall, from Iraí in the Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul. The surface of the scalenohedrons looks like stacked, almost like fish scales. The luster is silky, and one of the clusters has some cleavage, but you immediately forget the imperfection when you expose the specimen to ultraviolet light.
