Description

Here we have a fine Romanian Bournonite specimen with several cogwheel crystals perched on sulfide matrix. The Bournonites measure to about 1 cm and have a fine metallic luster. This piece was mined in the famous Cavnic Mine during the heyday in the 1970s. Despite the Bournonites coming out of China, good Bournonites like this one from other localities continue to be highly prized.
