Description

Here we have an excellent Romanian specimen richly covered with rare intergrown metallic gray bladed crystals of Chalcostibite from the Boldut Mine of Cavnic, Romania. These wonderful crystals of Chalcostibite are abundantly intergrown with iridescent metallic tarnished yellow Tetrahedrite crystals and richly perched on matrix. The crystals here are very sharp edged and almost perfectly terminated. Chalcostibite is a rare antimony-copper sulfosalt and specimens from Romania are rarely seen on the market,-and this one is a KILLER PIECE all the way with great overall aesthetics. The specimen is analysed.
