Description
A wonderful plate richly covered with amber-brown and gemmy, iron-poor Sphalerite. The crystals measuring over 1 cm, they are rich of faces and very slightly overdusted with glistening, brassy Pyrite. This highly lustrous Sphalerite crystals is are nicely set on sparkling colourless to grayish Quartz. The backside is sawn and "renaturated". Definitely a super aesthetic and contrastful specimen from this classic mine which was abandoned on October 31, 1978!!!
