Description
This super specimen features numerous bladed and well developed, orange red crystals of Baryte from the famous Baia Sprie Mine of Maramureș. This specimen comes definitely from the heyday of this great mine in the 1970s, when this type of Realgar-included Baryte was discovered in a few and small pockets. Definitely the most desired style of Romanian Baryte and exceeding hard to come by nowadays, due to the small number of specimens which came out. A super piece with only minor edge wear but great aesthetics.
