Description
An exceptional Cinnabar single crystal measuring 1.7 cm. The crystal is cherry red with a great resinous luster and slightly rounded edges. It is perfectly exposed on sharp white Dolomite rhombohedrons. A typical specimen, very characteristic for the Chinese Mercury mine in the Togren area, where mining dates back to China´s Qin and Han Dynasties some 2, 000 years ago.
