Description
What a great and typical Silver specimen from Schlema. When I was a teenager I dreamed about, to own such a piece in my collection: unreachable during GDR times. And now we have a stunning aggregate of wooly and additionally more stout Silver wires from Schlema in Saxony. This specimen consist of nearly pure Silver wires and has a great overall aesthetics. It has a fine metallic sheen as well and partly a wonderful patina. This material is exceeding hard to obtain nowadays considering the mines are closed and the dumps recultivated. This is stuff from the heyday of the mining district and probably mined in the 1970s.
