Description
This is a superb Chinese specimen with two generations of Calcite. Generation one is a matrix of light beige-pink Calcite scalenohedrons, which are sharp and translucent. The second generation Calcite is a 4 cm measuring cluster of rhombohedrons perched on the scalenohedrons. The rhombohedrons are gemmy translucent and with a resinous luster. A very aesthetic specimen from the skarn-type Copper deposit of the Fengjiashan Mine in Hubei Province.
