Description
Beige-brown Calcite clusters and lead-gray Galena crystals to 1 cm perched on flesh-colored saddle-shaped Ankerite. A pristine specimen from the Himmelfahrt Fundgrube, a former ore mine which was abandoned in 1968, later turned into a mine used for research and teaching, and is part of the 2019 established UNESCO World Heritage Site “Montanregion Erzgebirge”. A classic specimen from a classic German locality.
