Description
A snow white pseudomorph of Quartz after tabular Barite. The delicate pseudomorph has a sparkling surface creating a great aesthetic appeal. The specimen is from the Manzanal Mine, now part of the much bigger Cananea mining area, just south of the border of Arizona and the Mexican state of Sonora, where Gold, Silver and Copper have been mined since the arrival of the first Europeans in the 18th century.
