Description
This is a pretty unique locality piece from Black Thor Chromite deposit in a layered intrusion. Something every geologist gets excited about. A rich specimen of Enstatite, a species from the Pyroxene group. Crystals to several centimeters tall with a golden glow and a vitreous to pearly luster. A rare piece from a deposit that was discovered as recently as 2008. Something like that is not commonly found on the collector’s market.
