Description
An exceptional black-gray Schwazite crystal on a white Dolomite-Quartz matrix. The crystal has a metallic luster, and especially on the display side, crystal is unusually well crystallized with sharp edges and good crystal faces. Schwazite is a Mercury-bearing variety of Tetrahedrite, and if varieties have a type locality, than this specimen is from one: Schwaz-Brixlegg where it was first described and named in the early 1870s. Definitely a top piece.
