We don’t have fossils very often in our auctions, but when we do they are exceptional. Just like this partial pseudomorph of Pyrite replacing the shell of an Ammonite from the early Jurassic. As with many localities in Germany, the clay pit of Unterstürmig, south of the city of Bamberg in northern Bavaria, has been reclaimed some time ago and no longer accessible for collectors.
