Description
A specimen with a rounded matrix that is richly covered with disc-shaped Siderite crystals. They are beige in color, sharp, and with a silky luster. This is an all-around pristine FLOATER which can be displayed from every angle. The mines of the Schlema-Hartenstein mining district were closed in the 1990s, the shafts were sealed and dumps were reclaimed. That makes this specimen one of the classics, especially since this piece comes from active days of mining and not a find on the dumps.
