Description
Groups of spherical Safflorite crystal clusters consisting of equant crystals dotted with Erythrine-stained indistinct Calcite crystals. The diorite quarry north of the town of Nieder-Ramstadt was abandoned in 1974 and has since flooded. However, it is interesting from a historical perspective. In 1923, famous German mineralogist Paul Ramdohr discovered Silver and Cobalt ores, and in 1960, Uranium was discovered. This is extremely rare locality material, indispensable for collectors of classic localities as well as collectors of Germany classics.
