Description
Numerous elongated Arsenopyrite crystals cover a fine-grained Arsenopyrite matrix. The prismatic crystals are sharp, silver to brass-colored, and with a strong metallic luster. The top-aesthetic specimen shows a little bit of iridescence. A classic and typical specimen, most likely from the exploited Madem-Lakkos Mine which worked the polymetallic sulfide mines with Pyrite, Galena, and Sphalerite of Madem-Lakkos below the town of Stratoniki in the Kassandra mining district on the Chalcidice peninsula in northern Greece.
