Description
A fairly large Epidote specimen with a perfect, prismatic, 3.2 cm measuring main crystal crested at the base by numerous smaller crystals. The terminations of the sharp Epidote crystals with a vitreous luster are perfect. In the crevices of the crystals, micro Byssolite fibres can be seen. This specimen may not be perfect but is a very good sample from the locality in the Austrian Alps.
