Description
An excellent scalenohedral single Calcite crystal measuring over 6 cm in length with top terminations and numerous prism faces, some with pronounced striations perpenticular to the prism. The crystal is sharp, gemmy, translucnety with small crystals at the base. A uniquely aesthetic specimen with unlimited options for display. From a Mexican locality known for its unique Calcite specimens. Local farmer José Maria Patoni, discovered the deposit in 2000 while searching for optical calcite.
