Description
This specimen is a pretty good old timer of the extremely rare cadmium carbonate Otavite, named in 1906 by German mineralogist Otto Schneider for, you guessed it right, the Otavi Mountains in Namibia. This specimen consist of sparkling cream-white microcrystals richly covering the ENTIRE matrix, which is obviously Smithsonite bearing . This is a super specimen, covered in Otavite as rich as it gets!
