Description

Honey yellow Fluorite cubes measuring to 2.4 cm on edge from a ancient mine in Saxony with a checkered history from the first Silver finds around 1200 to the early 17th century when Cobalt was the main ore. The crystals of this piece are sharp with a vitreous luster. They are translucent with clearly distinguishable darker phantoms and included with Chalcopyrite micro crystals. This might not be a pristine specimen but it is still a very aesthetic piece with zero chances of new finds. The mine is now a tourist attraction.
