Description
The Italian island of Elba has produced some of the most exciting mineral specimens. Just take a look at this Quartz specimen on brecciated matrix from the Calamite Mine on the southeastern coast of the island. Sharp prismatic crystals are water clear. Upon closer inspection of the terminations, one can clearly see scepter growth of the sharp, partially Citrine-colored tips. A very aesthetic and rare locality piece.
