Description
Numerous sprays of royal-blue Azurite crystals with a great luster are scattered all over an extremely tough sandstone matrix from a mine with a long history. A little dusting of Malachite adds color to the specimen. The mine has been worked for 2000 years for silver and copper ores, and turned into a visitors mine in the early 1970s. That means, specimens like this very aesthetic piece are getting harder and harder to come by.
