Description
A wonderful star-shaped crystallized cluster of amber-golden Calcite from Framsen near Hildesheim in Lower Saxony. Farmsen is rather known for its great iridescent Siderite specimens and good Calcites are relatively uncommon. All the more remarkable ist this highly aesthetic Calcite piece with very minor wear at the backside and in my personal opinion absolutely comparable with top Calcites from other great worldwide localities,- but way more rare by its own. The fine colour, the superb luster and last but not least the shape of the cluster make this pristine specimen exceptional in aesthetic terms. Just superb.
