Description
Here we have a bunch of well formed dodecahedrons of Almandine Garnet on typically mica-shist matrix from the classic Austrian locale Zillertal in Tyrol. The crystals showing fine and typical dark reddish-brown colour, they are sharp edged and highly lustrous. Lucency is good for what it is and the overall aesthetics very nice as well. The largest Garnet measures over 2 cm across.
