Description
Intergrown, splendent, dark gray, Bixbyite crystals, to 9 mm on edge, have formed into an aesthetic cluster. The luster and sharpness on these are amazing, they look carved. This superb example of its species from this locality was for decades in the personal collection of well known and meanwhile alas passed away German collector Dr. Gerd Tremmel. This is material from a single find in the 1980s and nowadays almost disappeared from the scene; consequently hard to come by of course.
