Description
Here we have a beautiful combination piece with glassy and translucent rhombohedrons of creamys Calcite, to 5 mm across, heavily covered by bright, emerald green Dioptase; these are slightly and fortunately just partly, covered with a second generation of glistening Calcite as well. A rare and desired association known only from a few major pockets of the mid-1980s, in Tsumeb, these are almost never for sale. For the size range, a very aesthetic specimen. It is almost undamaged in the core, with only minor bruising around the periphery, and it displays beautifully. The colour saturation, as well as the gemminess of the Dioptases is terrific, and far better than the pics can adequately portray, so this one is MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!!
