Description
Here we have stout and heavy piece at least 100 years old, from old-time Vesuv Mine of Freyhung in Bavaria, Germany. The specimen is highly lustrous, has pale amber colour and features some crystal faces as well. The ancient Vesuv lead mine was in a deposit of sedimentarily formed lead ores (mainly Cerussite) in Triassic sandstones. Now long-time defunct (April, 19. 1945) and consequently are rich specimens as this one exceedingly hard to find and highly desired. Comes with a fine antique label
