Description
Jacobsite is described in the Cairncross book Manganese Adventure as being very rare and only seldom occurring as small sub-mm octohedral crystals in protected vugs. and this specimen is one of the finest and richest Jacobsite I have ever had to offer, far more rich than anything that I had back 5 years or so. This fine specimen hosts a bunch of vugs and largest of them is almost completely covered in jet-black, lustrous, SHARP octohedral Jacobsites, and glitters with black sparkle. A superb black rock, eh?
