Description
A fine and old-time Aussie with a small vein of native Gold, richly embedded in Quartz matrix. It comes from old time Tranvaal Gold Mine of Mount Margaret Goldfield in Laverton Shire. The Transvaal Gold Mine is 1.7 kilometers north-east of the Westralia pit. The deposit was discovered in 1899, and developed by a syndicate of prospectors. Soon various members dropped out, leaving the brothers, Walter and William Hamblin as sole owners. Such items are exceedingly rare and practically not seen for sale on the mineral market. So this is a great opportunity to get hold of such a rare Gold specimen together with the matching antique label.
