Description
Small but well formed six-sided crystals of uncommon silver-sulfosalt Polybasite from the old Himmelfahrt Fundgrube of Freiberg in Saxony. The Freiberg mining district is the TYPE LOCALITY of Polybasite. The crystals here are sharp edged and mostly good terminated with a fine metallic sheen and triangular pattern on their surfaces. Despite the fact, that not all crystals are perfect, this is an interesting and good locality piece.
