A beautiful old-time Wölsendorf specimen of glistening brownish, slightly violet hinted Quartz from the well known Johannesschacht ( Johannes Shaft) of Wölsendorf in Bavaria. The crystals here are very sharp edged, highly lustrous and perfect terminated. In this specific case we have the variety of Ferruginous Quartz which barely showed up at this locale in good items. And this is a really good one in splendid condition,- and comes with an antique label
