Here we have a superb vuggy specimen, lined with finest Orpiment crystals of "electric"-yolk-yellow colour. Peruvian Orpiments have been overshadowed by the Nevada ones that came out some years ago, but they are still highly desirable specimens, especially when they are of this caliber!!! These are very lustrous, wonderfully-terminated crystals with superfine colour. There are little bruises here and there, but this is true of just about all Peruvian Orpiments, and the main display area of this specimen is in almost excellent condition. Peruvian Orpiments can be really clunky, but the fine form and sparkle of these crystals make this one really choice!
