Description
Fine and sharp but not complete Alabandite crystals on matrix from well known Peruvian locality Uchucchacua Mine of Oyon at the Lima Department. Both crystals showing good metallic luster, they are sharp edged and have anthracite colour. Uchucchacua sets the standard for good Alabanite specimens during the last years. Alabandite is a relatively uncommon manganese sulfide, and this is a good and representative sample for the species.
