Description
Here we have a superb specimen with numerous, elongated and Plumosite-coated crystals of Fizelyite from the TYPELOCALITY, the well known Romanian locality Herja Mine of Maramureș!!! They are accompanied by black and multifaced Sphalerite and gray Calcite rhombs. This is an exceptionally rich, RARE, relatively large example of the lead - silver - antimony sulfosalt Fizelyite. These came out in the early to mid-1900s (and some even earlier) and are often confused with Semseyite - although this is much rarer and has obvious differences to the eye, in person. In every case a super piece of a RARE SPECIES in splendend condition.
